NEWS: On Aug 3 2003 James Wakefield announced that he is retiring from MMA/NHB Competition after a upsetting loss to Rory Singer of Athens, GA. The fact remains that due to unsportsman like conduct by Rory Singer by a cheap shot after the opening bell where James was trying to touch gloves before starting the bout Rory acted in a very unsportsman manner by rejecting the respect and nailing James with a Right Hook. After being apart of the disrespect put on by Rory Singer James has decided to compete in only Muay-Thai Rules and International Leg Kick Rules Bouts under IKF and WKF sanctioning. The NHB/MMA record for James as of Aug 2 2003 was 5-3-0.
